For some reason the game lets me only transfer over 500g, anything over and i get the gold exceeds … message.
I’m quite certain the cap should be 2000g for a level 60 character. (
I’ve transfered over a few characters with 500g since i was going to anyway, but have 1 left with 1200g that i also want to transfer.
Is this a known general bug or is it probably a bug with my account? Created a ticket but figured maybe i can find an answer here quicker.
transfered a lvl 60 character with 5000 gold 2 days ago, now I get the same error message for a different character. Even under 2k gold I get this error

Having the same issue here too. I have created a ticket already, but it seems that our friends over in the US are having the same issue (https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/trying-to-purchase-character-transfer-issue/978532/27)
They seem to have pinpointed that it came with the fix was implemented to stop characters from transferring more than 2000 gold.

yes, i think they made an error with a decimal point somewhere ^^
cap is 500g for me, not 5000, or not even 2000g

I did some digging and it looks this was reported multiple times. Our developers are investigating and we’re hoping to have more information to share soon. In the meantime I’m afraid there indeed seems to be a current 500g cap for level 60s. Our Support Team has no means to assist anyone who wants to transfer with more, so if transferring with more gold is important to you we recommend holding off on any character transfers for the moment.

I have cca 700g, no emails, no active auctions.
I made ticket days ago - nobody react - this is paid service, i though there will be more action about it.
What is going on here? i have 1600g but cant transfer as it says i have more than 2000g?
To everyone read the rest of the thread - they misplaced a decimal point somewhere (can happen to any major indie company winkwink).
cap is 500g right now (little woopsie).
so yes, 25 euro per character or not, i fear none of our tickets will be sufficiently answered. got to suck it up and hope for a swift fix!
I’m trying to transfer my character to another realm, but it says "This character’s gold exceeds the maximum they can transfer at their level.(2,000g) Am a level 60 and I do not even have a 1,000 gold. Please fix this.
