I wanted to create this post to see how many people are interested in this suggestion that probably wont happen but but cant hurt to try.
I would LOVE to see Classic TBCC with improved quality of life changes such as updated graphics, new models, transmog and so on. Imagine taking the best parts of retail and putting it in classic. And im only suggesting quality of life improvements, nothing that affects player power in any way.
And yes i know some of you dont want to see these changes in classic but im sure blizzard can create seperate servers or take existing ones and changing them to the more “updated” classic.
Since i cant seem to create a poll to see how many would be interested in this (or not), I will have to the posts themselves to get an idea.
Changes im suggesting:
Updated graphics with new models.
Transmog
New cosmetics.
LFG queue
Dualspec (?)
achievments
Im blanking right now so cant think of any other things so please feel free to add something if i missed it. And many of these changes were in wotlk so they are coming anyway. So, what do you think? Yay or Nay? love to hear your thoughts about this.
Nostalgia is first couple of weeks then we have to be realistic.Its not that old game anymore i dont want anything to be changes as gameplay/gamestyle but i want fot features and shop to be implemented such stuff as u mentioned earlier
The problem is that what you think are the “best parts of retail” aren’t what others may think. For example, I don’t want updated graphics or models (except maybe as a toggle option), and definitely not transmog - since transmog actually affects gameplay as it gives players an incentive to get gear that they previously had no incentive to, with significant impact on the AH prices and people’s need/greed behavior in dungeons. Same with achievements - they dramatically change people’s behavior in and outside instances.
Also not sure what you mean as “LFG queue”, but if it includes the automation + teleport of WotLK and later, then it’s a big no. Also lol Dual Spec.
Why sign upto a classic game if you don’t want a classic experience? I mean your asking for features already available in shadowlands expansion, why don’t you play that?
Because i want to play TBC with WOTLK features is it that much that i ask for ?! Everything i meantioned before is available in WOTLK pretty much why not in TBC whats the problem would the game be less satisfied than before ?
Just because its classic doesnt mean we have to go back 15 years in time and experience it EXACTLY like it was back in the day. Thats why all types of games are being remade because people want the old games but in an updated form. people are just being nostalgic and cant seem to move on with their lives. wow players are really special i gotta admit. You dont see these kinds of people in other games that are remade
Then it’s not a classic experience then, your asking for things available in the retail version, why should you put features you like in a game that didn’t have them originally ruining the intended experience for players who do want to play that expansion without these changes because then you get to the point you may as well not have classic in the first place.

Start playing the game mate, if you have no interest in it I hear FF is good alternative

Did you read my post? I suggested different servers so people like you who need the “classic” experience can stay where they are. no one is forcing you to come to the updated servers.
Im fairly sure that this is not a remake but a rerelease by all defintions, its the old code with some slight tweaks to emulate some things closer to how they were in version 2.0 (closer to what most people managed to get down in 2.0 atleast)
Because things like that were implemented after TBC and it was the best expansion ever made thats why !And ppl understood that its way better and way more satisfactional and fun!
