Classic WoW PvP class choice?

So, what do you think of Classic WoW PvP? Which class would be easiest or best or most versatile etc… or just which one you will be playing for PvP reasons?
I myself thought about a warlock… some told me I should play mage but I think in vanilla WoW they were even more glass than ever later so I’m not sold on that idea.
Any insights?

Frost mage, warlock or undead rogue.

Warrior if you have a pocket healer.

OK, it’s a stupid question but which one would be “easiest” in your opinion? I’m not great at PvP really. Which of this classes has the biggest room for mistakes?

Before someone says “play what you like lorewise etc.” - then my answer is that all 3 of these classes would seem “fun” for lorewise and fantasy reasons. But I know I won’t have time for more than 1 Classic WoW character so I’d really like to make a good sensible choice ;0

Frost has a lot of CC to make up for mistakes vs melee, on the other hand rogues have a lot of disengage tools like vanish.

Still can’t decide… With dead zone hunters probably aren’t as noob-friendly in classic as they are now? xD

Imo locks are easy but its just my opinion.

I will be going for hunter because i want to catch all the rare pets like pokemons.

Im undecisive myself too :frowning: I reduced my choices to hunter rogue and priest.

Ill level a hunter first to get familiar with the game as everyone says its one of the best leveling classes and also a good gold maker. From what I gather hunter can be very good for pvp or terrible, seems its a class with a high enough skill-need to be decent.

Then Ill most likely level a priest, seems to be a wanted class in groups, either holy in pve and shadow in pvp.

But boi do I also want a rogue and spend my days camping flight paths

Pros and cons on everything. That’s good I believe. Everything should have good and bad sides.
I’m only afraid I’m gonna end up playing a mage with the same name as this one I’m posting as xD Well, I hate change after all ;0
But I think mages are too glass-like for my taste… especially in Classic where we don’t even have an actual shield :s
What I don’t quite like about hunter. as I’m reading, is that thing with aimed shot clipping auto shot, seems more like annoyance than anything “Skillful”, really.
Some people noticed warlocks without death coil aren’t gonna be fun against melees, what are your thoughts on this, guys? How was warlock against melees in classic?
On the other hand, with limited debuffs, warlocks aren’t probably much fun in PvE. Then we have those darned soul shard management

I’m actually kinda tempted for priests. Shadow priests are described to be quite strong. And as a healing class, they have an easy time in dungeon-levelling, I believe. And they don’t have soul shards or arrows xD

Or maybe a warrior? The bonus is that as a tank you will be a guaranteed spot for PvE. Not sure about its PvP viability.

Classic will have a respeccing problem tho, so maybe it’s better to stick to a spec for one thing and focus either on pvp or pve rather than trying to do both at the same time :stuck_out_tongue:

Now when I think of it… mages don’t have any “maintenance” costs xD and can earn on portals.
Rogues… rogues, they are tempting but probably they need more skills than I think. I tried rogue in WoD as my free boosted class and I was below average… Possibly because of tons of macros you need to muscle-memory and I didn’t quite feel like investing myself too much.

I just want a simple yet good-enough class for classic xD heeeeelp

I mean, any input is welcome. If you played original WoW in any way, please share your thoughts. Maybe it will help me make a decision
