I came back from playing WoW up to Cata years ago with WOTLK being my favorite expansion. I jumped in with 21 days and managed to get a lvl 70 Pally and DK ready to grind out WOTLK. Now I’m stuck in 2-3 hour queues. Cool.
I am completely in awe and disgusted with how the servers have been handled. WHY would they allow any ONE server to be over 75% of a single faction? Clearly they have the ability to lock servers simply do it once the population reaches a 25% swing one way or the other.
Also same with server numbers 12k 16k 20k people on ONE SERVER? WHY? Once again they have the power to lock a server so DO IT. Back in the day we seemed to manage with 4k-6k people on a server just fine. If you are going to take away the world PVP by allowing server to be this unbalanced then just make them all PVE this is one of the most insane things I’ve ever experienced. I guess 20 years wasn’t enough time to learn how to manage servers.
How about they offer people an incentive to faction change or leave? hey you want 2 months of game time? You want 1k gold, you want a boost bag of gems, ore, plants etc… Cool move you and your friends to “this” server.
