Cleaving Frost Shocks can pull out-of-phase Interval adds in Dawn of the Infinites

Hello

I made a post on this some time ago (old post), and it looks like this is still an issue in 10.2 live.

I’m reposting to make people aware of this issue since the old post is locked, feel free to delete the thread if that’s against forum rules. This behaviour can potentially f*** up keys in lower DotI due to a bugged interaction.

Currently on live servers, the small out-of-phase adds in DotI before 2nd boss called “Interval” can be pulled by Frost Shocks empowered by the Electrified Shocks buff. The Intervals then start chasing and killing people without a way to stop them, except have the big dispell circle hit them to make them hit-able, however you’ll likely be unlucky and people will die before the adds can become targetable.

I believe Enhancement has the same problem with their Hailstorm talent.

Is this intended behaviour? It looks to only work with single target spells that are buffed to just hit additional enemies nearby. I would hate for this to be a thing when the dungeon releases into the M+ pool, and I can’t use my cleave abilities because I’ll be pulling unstoppable mobs that aren’t easy to get rid of.
