Client Language won't go to English

as the title discribes.

i have installed the Classic WoW client and its started in German language. i tried to switch it to english in the options, and it prompted that it needed a client restart. but as soon as i restart the client its back on german language.

how can i fix this?

My retail version is normal English.

Hello,

You have to choose Classic in the app, go to options above the play button, go to game settings and choose english for the game client. This will prompt a download for the client being in english.
