Client-Side Pet Sizes

This post is a petition to Blizzard to consider implementing client-side pet sizes. What this means is that from the player’s perspective, the pets can be any size they wish, either small or true to their size (within reason). From everyone else’s perspective, these pets would like they do currently, or in any way Blizzard wishes for them to look.

I am making this post because I am sick and tired of looking at my tiny little demons when playing a warlock. They do not look intimidating at all, just miniature versions of what they should be. They recently added a summonable Pit Lord for warlocks and it looks so tiny that when you look at it you laugh, not feel threatened.

This change would of course not only apply to warlocks, but also to hunters, shamans, death knights, mages, and any other class that summons minions. Other games, including WoW’s biggest competitor Final Fantasy XIV, already support this option.

It might seem like a trivial thing to work on, but I can assure you that many people, including myself, would love a feature like this as it increases the fun and immersion when playing the game. Furthermore, this would allow Blizzard to make certain pets even smaller for visual clarity in group content, without upsetting the players using the pets.

If you would like to see this implemented in the game, please consider leaving a comment to grab Blizzard’s attention. If you are reading this and you are able to post on the American forums, consider doing so, as Blizzard is more likely to view the forums there than here. Thank you.

Good points and totally with you, but just thinking the new wave of bugfest this will cause in the game and I’m exhausted already
