I have tried and tried and tried to get Doc Nanners to appear to me to unlock both climbing World Quests for the Dragonscale Expedition. My renown is currently level maxed so more than high enough. World Quests are unlocked and I have completed the main campaign. I have only one character who has done any of the DF expansion and another Level 20 timerunner. I have never had any other characters.
I can see him in Valdrakken and he is simply ‘excited to see me’ but won’t load or give me the breadcrumb quest. He is the same at the Dragonscale Base Camp - just stares at me, giving me nothing.
I have tried, following advice seen on Wowhead:
- Entering War Mode and then turning if off
- Hanging around in Valdrakken for 15+ minutes to see if he appears
- Porting in and out of Valdrakken repeatedly
I will note that this problem originally affected BOTH the photography and climbing quests. The photography quests were successfully patched around 2 - 3 weeks ago. I have waited and waited for the climbing ones to open. It will be nearly impossible to get Taivan when the new expansion comes, so I’m very disappointed!
