I noticed this evening that if a Shadow Priest used Void Shift on me to heal himself up while I had Cloak of Shadows up I still take the damage instead of immuning it (allowing Void Shift to simply heal the Priest).
I have not read a single line about that in any Shadowlands build, and up until the very end of Season 4 Cloak has always stopped Void Shift damage.
Is it intended and I missed it, or is it likely a bug ?
the first like 0.5/1 sec of cloak lets you immune void shift dmg while the priest still gets the healing. it’s been like this for at least all of bfa probs longer.
Yeah, the first 0.5s still seems to work, and as far as I remember has always been a window that immuned more stuff (like Envenom) when the rest of the effect only immuned proper spells.
But, I was convinced I could immune Void Shifts in a late Cloak in BfA, hence the post. I suppose I’m wrong then.
