Cloaks and Back cosmetics should have the option to have both on

I been wanting to post this for awhile especially with the the amount of back cosmetics that came in shadowlands (for context the ardenweald backpack, random branch thing) venthyr (spikes, sinstone) etc etc…

But I thought maybe with time or the right tmogs it might look better, but then with the preorder of dragonflight the wings are set so high up that you basically have no back piece at all… and reckoned I would see if anyone feels the same.

Surely its not impossible to keep the cloak and backpiece (this is mostly visible when using toys like [Blazing wings, sparkle wings etc] dont remove the cloak

On top of that most of the back cosmetics are floating above the back, while some like the sinstone and backpack are actually on the back and in that case it makes sense the cloak isn’t visible.

Thoughts ?

I feel like it would make way too much clipping issues, you could only use the napkin cloaks

However the floating stones would be neat, but thats so specific that i dont think blizz will add it

I donno the distance the items float away from the cloak I don’t think it would clip, especially like the spikes from venthyr or that circle thingy from bastion its like miles away those I really feel should be there own cosmetic

They could do it similar to the 2 shoulder choices. But group cloaks together and then everything else together on the second one, since you can hide cloak anyway, I see no problem with this.

I’d like to see a cloak with a hood, like clearly the hood is part of the cloak and not a head piece. Not sure how they would do that though, but say if you choose the hooded cloak, it limits your head piece to masks and glasses etc.

I agree, this would definitely be amazing and open up even more transmog options. I often find myself having to decide between an ornamental back piece and a cloak, and my question was always, “why not both?”. Blizz, pls… :heartpulse:

It’s true, my cow wears a backpack and sometimes a totem, but his back still gets cold :frowning:

I just reckoned if something is floating behind you, or not directly on your back multiple options would be nice

I never use back mogs becouse u can’t se ur weapon on ur back.

it is a good idea, but personally I would give priority to hats with glasses or even better, to the hair visible under the helmets/hats

I think this would be a great idea too, I don’t do a lot of head tmogs so I haven’t noticed too much, but yea your idea sounds great… I just like my back pieces and cloaks xD

I’m not too bothered about having a cloak and a back. But I would like my weapons to be visible with my back on.

It’s worth noting that none of the new transmog items shoe on our armoury characters.

They should also let as choose if we want our tabard to be full display to be croped above the belt, many belts combinations these days causing clipping issues and i end up just net using tabard most of the times

That also sounds amazing, I also enjoy a lot of the tabards but below the belt… I just think with how many back pieces have been added and only more to come there should be a difference

I think another point I’d like to add this, the new preorder wings really could be a bit bigger… like whenever I see wings in the game I compare them to diablo wings… and I donno how we get angel wings that are bigger than dragon wings as a cosmetic

They could also flap now and again, or retract, or both. So many things they could do!
