Hi, My mini map shows all mobs on it as dots. i tried looking everywhere to disable this as i cannot see the quest givers or mining nodes etc…
im not using any addons. can anybody suggest how i can disable this feature ?
try right clicking on your minimap and then click on hunter trackings, it should show you a window with what you are currently tracking. Click on what you are currently tracking to disable it.

This toon was created a long time ago, when hunters had a track beasts ability. i think maybe this feature is perm on without the option to turn it off.
As said above, right click your minimap or click ont he magnifying glass if you have standard UI > Hunter Trackings and tick any unwanted tracks off.
No tracking is permanently enabled by default except for the new quest system which just places a yellow dot on portals of any kind.
