Cmd to ctrl option is missing?

I am on iMac, and my whole play style revolves around this option… what happened to it?!

Same problem here. There was another post about it last month in PTR but no replies from Blizzard.

This solved it for me:

Navigate to hard disk icon/Applications/Utilities/ and then open application called “Terminal”

once this is open, copy and paste this line into it and hit enter (make sure wow is NOT open when you do this)

defaults write com.blizzard.worldofwarcraft disable-expose-fix -bool YES

after doing so, quit terminal like you would any other application.

Then just open up wow and use CMD and or CTRL as before again.

Also really missing this option Tried Despize’s suggestion but it didn’t fix anything for me.

I am bumping this as it’s REALLY CRUCIAL Blizzard fixes it. Or at least acknowledges it. Blizz, anyone?

I hope that somebody from Blizzard will answer why they remove this option in settings.
I’m using Karabiner soft for Mac to switch buttons and it solve problem, but its very uncomfortable.

This is a pretty old topic, but since it hasn’t been specifically answered previously: for a quite some time already applications don’t have the permission within MacOS to directly tap into many functions, which to a degree includes the mapping of the CMD-key. There are ways to manually allocate additional permissions, which usually involves using the Terminal-function of MacOS to do so (the command for that would be as follows: “defaults write com.blizzard.worldofwarcraft disable-expose-fix -bool YES”), but this won’t be something we can really influence from our end.

Hello! Actually, I don’t need exactly the “CMD as Сontrol” function. Actually I just want to use CMD+Сlick in the new “Click Casting” functionality. Click Casting Bidding does not currently support CMD+Click. Are there any restrictions on such functionality from MacOS? I see a “Comand left click as right click” setting in the game, does that mean the game can recognize pressing CMD?
