I’ve spent most of my time for the past week clearing Heroic Castle Nathria with random groups from the in-game dungeon finder.
I’ve shifted through many groups and countless wipes, spent hours upon hours clearing bosses. Through many trials and tribulations I’ve come to clear 6 bosses out of 10 in the heroic version of the raid with random people.
Everyone here knows how much of a pain that is.
However I have received no drops and my item level is still the same as it was a week ago.
Essentially I’ve wasted about 40 hours and I have got nothing. This whole experience has left me frustrated, so much in fact I’m considering stopping playing.
A game that has no respect for the time players put in, in my opinion, is a waste of time and money. The fact that loot is still tied to RNG and no guaranteed drops, like at least one item every five bosses is a joke.
This is not fun for me, it is not enjoyable for me that after putting so much effort there are people who are 10 item levels higher than me only because of RNG and not through some merit of skill.
I just want fair shake at loot after going through the effort of completing more than half of the current raid cycle.
