Yeah, like Keento said, I don’t believe there have ever been add-ons that make any visual or data alterations on the character creation screen. All add-ons can only work within the actual game, and the character creation screen isn’t really part of that; it’s your gateway into the game.
So, the only thing you can really do is remember. You know, use that noodle in your head to keep track of what keys your characters have, or how many. As we’ve mentioned, there’s no add-on that will make any type of visual or data change to the character creation screen.
That is actually quite a valid point, especially for those with a vast number of characters. Keeping track of that information can indeed be a tiresome task.
I remember back in… I can’t recall which expansion it was, but we had the WoW Companion App. You were able to do certain missions by sending your companions out from your phone. It would have been nice if Blizzard had some type of system—like a WoW app on your phone—that allowed you to look up that type of information. For example, you could check specific currencies, whether they are account-wide or character-specific.
Then you wouldn’t have to worry about add-ons; you could just pop onto your phone, select a character, and see, “Oh, yeah, this one has 12 Keystones,” for example.
Don’t any inventory based addon keep tabs of it, like Baganator? Just hovering over the tooltip shows the amount each character has [as long as each character uses the same addon for said addon to register it].
I’m not sure if Titan Bar can also display that information. I know it can track and inform you ingame of all gold that is spread between your characters. But no idea if they’ve updated that addon to show other currencies.
