Collapsing Star bug

When using Collapsing Star, any interruption of this cast results in losing all stacks. Which feels quite unfair in scenarios where you cannot predict when you’re safe to cast.

I’m also losing all stacks, if I queue this spell too quick.

In its current state, this button feels more like a slot machine.

Yea, this feels unintentional. Even if your target dies you can’t recast Collapsing Star on another. Spell is gone.

atm this is unnecessarily punishing, and it’s hard enough to get even one star during the time window (practically impossible while levelling - which really sucks because you skill it quite early only to never even see the button until you’re nearing lvl 70).

They changed the behavior. IMO still punishing, but at least the direction is right.

Collapsing Star has been updated – No longer consumes the required Souls at the start of its cast. Now has a 5 second cooldown and triggers its cooldown at the start of its cast.

Honestly its such a cool looking visual spell, but its far to demanding to get at the moment. To have this spell in your tool kits is amazing but what’s the point if you can only get 1 cast out during the entire void form? I love the tooltip says that the more collapsing stars you case the more damage they do! Well I’ve managed to cast 2 in one Meta phase. And that was purley because we had about 15 mobs we were fighting
