I feel like there is information missing in the collection tabs on mounts. Iirc on retail quite a lot of is provided i.e where it drops / achievement or quest you obtain it from?
If anything this would be a great improvement to the newly added collection tab in WoTLK.
If I remember correctly it didn’t have any of the additional information you mention back when it was first introduced. That was added in later expansions (don’t ask me which though, I quit wow during cata and only came back for classic)
