Why is the Imperial Quillen available on the store? This was a part of the Mists of Pandora Collector’s Edition and as such should only be available through that method, as a fan that has bought all CE boxes I can only imagine how insulted other players who also did the same feel. What’s next, making past Gladiator Mounts available on the store?
I mean, I lost interest through late Legion and BFA, and as such, missed the 15 year anniversary mount, which I’m fine with, slightly gutted, but that’s the price I paid for not playing during that time, I wouldn’t expect that, or any “limited” mount to reappear on the store in 7 years time.
What makes mounts like these special is the limited nature or unavailability, even if 50,000 Collector’s Editions sell, it’s still limited in a sense and once they’re gone, they’re gone. I see this as an affront to the deal I paid for when I bought the MoP CE.
Rant over.
It’s always been like this. All CE mounts go to the store. Even the 15th anniversary mounts which should only be given to people buying the anniversary edition are available. Nothing is sacred for Blizzard anymore.
Sad but true, by “15 year anniversary mount” I ment the Deathwing mount - I did buy the 15 year anniversary CE box with Rag/Alibaster mounts even though I wasn’t playing at the time ^^
You’re crapping on your most loyal and adoring fans Blizzard, sort it out.
Pandaria CE mount and pet were never an exclusive content from physical CE, it was available on the blizzard store as Digital Deluxe Edition before Pandaria launched back in 2012 and for some reason, it was removed when WoD launched 2 years later but as a digital product it was never limited, anyone who wanted that mount and pet in Pandaria they knew the only need to pay Blizzard money to get them, no rush, no limited quantity because it was available as a digital product.
