I wanted to ask you guys how ehe shipping of CE of previous expensions started. Where they shipped shortly before the expension release or much earlier (in this case, around the 11.2.7 patch)?
I dont mind to wait longer for the transmog or mounts but it would be a bummer if i cant acces the early release of housing because i decide to give Blizzard more money 
I got TWW CE delivered to me about 5-6 weeks before the release. I think was about the same with the previous physical editions I got.
Didnât they give you some sort of preorder code if you bought the CE?
Negative, only The War Within got shipped some time before release because of the early access feature.
All previous Physical Collectors Editions got shipped so they arrived on or only a very few days prior release.
Negative, only for Beta Access.
We do not have any official information yet, but you can be assured that we will recive either a code via mail to access beta, or even get the physical CE shipped before housing early access release, though second is to be doubted that it will be the case.
We physical CE only buyers very likely will have to wait until some time before Midnight release before we will be granted Housing Early Access without buying the Digital Deluxe edtion.
Ever since digital versions got implemented Blizzardâs stance has been: If you want early access to Physical Collectors Edition content you need to purchase one of the digital versions and get the money refunded as Battle-net currency after activating the CE key.
The only exception beeing beta access, which, as I mentioned, was granted via mail contaning a seperate beta key.
The reason for this being: With beta being an exception, everything else is tied to the key contained in the physical box and those key contents will not be âripped apartâ to grant some sort of âearly access only keyâ.
I stand corrected, found the old shipping details for DF and SL(the only I had before). They were shipped out 2 weeks before the release.
Apologies, yes, Dragonflight at least I do remember now the issue with damaged boxes some good time before release and people trying to get replacements before release, and I recieved mine early, too.
Shadowlands I do now I got mine only a few days before release, but that obviously was not the standard, as per your shipping information.
But I do not think that we will recive our boxes for 11.2.7 release, I think we will have to wait some good amount of time for housing early access compared to digital edition owners.
I do hope I get tought otherwise, again, but we should assume the worst case and either wait or purchase a digital edition.
Yeah you canât really hope to get it early, couple of weeks at most. Personally I dont mind waiting but at the same time it sucks a bit that I would have to buy it twice to enjoy the early goodies.
