Coming Later This Year: Shadowlands Season 4

I’m basically just going to finish the questline tomorrow (today technically).
And then I’ll check in daily if the dailies and/or WQs are giving stuff that’s an upgrade for me. And ofc I’ll be doing the LFR wings as they are released.

And yeah… that’s basically it.

Why? You already have better stuff

Because I want to see and experience that content?

Why do you want to experience content while omitting “the big 3” as you say? I just don’t get why you’d put in so many hours and basically refuse 95% of the end game content.

I’d rather do 100 mechagon than 1 tazavesh :upside_down_face: bosses were far less complicated.

As for the ‘why’ I refuse ‘the big 3’ … Because I don’t think they’re fun activities.
It’s just that simple really.

And why do I want to experience content? Because that’s fun to me of course.
I like seeing the raid - even though I don’t enjoy raiding - and since Blizzard keep putting the big story moments inside raids, well… There you go.

And no, before you suggest this: I don’t want to watch that stuff on YT or something like that. I want to experience it for myself. With MY character.

Ps: I really don’t put ‘that many hours’ into it. I haven’t really done that for all of Shadowlands because there is so little fun/worthwhile content to do. The most I played was when Korthia was current.

Now in 9.2 I’m back to maybe 15-25 mins per day. IF that even.

Both are horrible though. Tazavesh got a fat nerf shortly after coming into M+, and then again on Tyrannical week the last boss in streets got a nerf. It’s a simple boss, but RNG and not perfect understanding of his ability wiped you.

Streets suffers from the same RP-bloat Freehold did, if you just activate RPs prior to doing the boss you can save over a minute, which is disgusting. Also the RNG of the trade sequence can be over a minute time save if you get good trade sequence or a bad one.

I don’t find Tazavesh fun, but then I don’t find Kara or Mechagon fun. They’ve chosen all the hell mega dungeons. Like why. Why not have some nice additions to the dungeon pool.

I’m sure others love them and have fond memories. I remember doing something like a 20 or 21 Upper Kara and it was not fun at all

What big story moments? You can already watch the cutscenes in Zereth Mortis? You know they’re a boss in the raid, thus they’re defeated/subdued.
I am clearly missing something here, but I don’t know what. I wouldn’t pay sub for several weeks/months just to see the cutscene trigger inside the raid rather than in Zereth Mortis.

You are missing something and it doesn’t matter.
I wouldn’t pay ‘just for that’ either; and I’m not.

You play the way you like it.
I’ll play the way I like it. You don’t need to understand why.

Karazhan was sadly the best of the mega dungeons, they’re all garbage though. So it’s like comparing the municipal dump to your own trash can.

Honestly people’s preferences will vary. Some will think all this is the best thing since sliced bread.

I wish Blizzard would spend their time doing new things and not look at this cheapskate recycling.

And I wish Blizzard wouldn’t ignore a large part of their playerbase as if they don’t matter.
But here we are, both not getting what we want.

3 months left on my sub.

I am content with S4 being different, I don’t personally approve of the dungeon choices, but I’ll play to KSM at least (unless Grimrail actually makes it in). Compared to BfA this is a vast improvement of the formula for anyone playing dungeons.

BfA was the same buggy dungeons from S1 through S4, with only the seasonal affix changing, and some routing differences.

lmao, I’ll be gone before you are, and I play one part of “the big 3”. Seems like paying a monthly sub pays dividends.

Meh, I got some stuff out of it… Like a transmog set, fun backpacks with baby murlocs.
I have no regrets. I just won’t pay for a year of no content.

You can bet that the next 6 month ‘reward’ will be a nice one though.
They want to rope in as many people as they can whilst having no new content.

I loved workshop  my fav dungeon. The music, the ambience, the few trashy mobs, fun bosses like the robo dog and the run ring around the roses in the garden, or King Mecaghon :stuck_out_tongue:

How was King Mechagon fun for anyone I wonder? What was fun about him? It was about as tank and spank as it could be, with the entire group moving away every now and again when he sucked everyone in.

Tank and spank is fun for me!
Just sayin’.

Making all raids of an expansion relevant is such a nice change. It’s fun to change it up instead of doing only one raid each week. Also really loved the Nathria raid and its aesthetics, so it was a bummer for me to leave behind, so again: great news!

Sad to see 10.0 is taking a long time, but I hope that it comes out good, now that’s it’s longer in the oven.

Okay so… Let me get this straight?
You cut an entire patch from Shadowlands and instead of providing us with new gameplay we PAY for, you give us Raiding M+?
I don’t mind that there is a season 4 or the m+ dungeon changes. I hate the dungeons being added but whatever.
Now, instead of a raid we get 3 re-used raids with an Affix. Lol. Blizzard your laziness outdoes itself with every patch. Also, how will raid groups decide which raid to run, considering different specs and classes benefit more from different raids? Do you expect us to run all 3 raids?
I wonder what does this mean for the future of WoW, i’m starting to get a feeling we’re going to see more re-used Raids with just affixes instead of actual proper fresh content. I really hope i’m wrong.
