There is no other ways to give the essences to alts but keep the grind which is essential to fill 10 or more months until shadowlands.

“Speeding up the gameplay” for fresh 120s is basically heirlooms for max level. I don’t have BIS heirlooms on my main. When I’m competing on a fresh alt I don’t want to have to compete against other fresh 120s with BIS heirlooms. All this does is triviliaze most of the game for them and screw over new players.

If you haven’t haven’t gotten the essential essences on your main that’s your problem. I, along many others, don’t want to grind essences again because it’s just another tedious thing to do along with grinding for BiS corruptions and gear.

So a new currency to buy some essences, but not others. More mess. All different systems for everything and between items in the same category. Sigh.

(But yes, at least it’s better than nothing.)

We don’t have any specific details yet of how much currency etc is required. Some of my friends have started preparing alts for reset though
