Commands for setting up chat and bags

Hi, I’m trying to create a macro to setup everything important for when I first create a new character and I would like to know if there are commands that would allow me to:

  1. either hide a specific chat channel in the General tab, or move it to a new tab?
  2. assign bags to a specific item type, e.g. assign my first bag to equipment?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can copy over the chat-cache.txt from an existing character to the new one (while not logged into the new char) to copy over all those settings.
