Hi, can anyone tell me why some are using the “common” chat when they say something. First i thought it was because they try say something to opposite faction, if that is the case it is time to say that corss faction cannot see what they are writing other than weird letters
In wow they can speak various languages, some like to speak their race’s language and can only be understood by others of the same race.
The alliance speaks Common. The horde speaks Orcish as a default.
This was made, to make sure that people from opposite factions couldn’t understand one another. It’s an intentional thing.
However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. The pandarens can either be horde or alliance. And they can talk to each other cross faction.
Same with blood elves and void elves. Their common language is Thalassian. Demon hunters also can talk to one another with Demonic language.
thanks, makes sense. i just did not knew.
