Hi,
I see that recently many communities are being deleted in very strange way. All the people are being kicked out of the community, but you can still see it in the search list.
Because of that you cannot just re-create that same community, because in the DataBase it still exists.

I wrote to Russian community support ticket, and Admin told that he cannot help, because he don’t know what is happening. So, I decided to write here, maybe some progress will go. Maybe that is known issue, and developers already are working on that bug?

Its very bad issue, because we lost a contacts with ~380 people, and it will be hard to return everyone back. Severity - high !

this can be sadly two issues.

One could be solved, the other not. If the community is not deleted, it could be a UI issue.

So if this is the case and you can not see the Community any more you can solve this with this script /script ToggleCommunitiesFrame()

The other case is sadly not salvageable for us. Since it is not possible to restore a once deleted community.

If this is the case and this happened the deletion can only be done if the person who did it filled the Rank " Owner " . In communities this rank can be shared between different users.

That script did’n help. So it’s not an UI issue.

Thing is, that we can still see that community in the search list. Its written that the owner of that community is still the same person. He, owner, also was kicked out of it somehow.
He have shared a picture, where he(the owner) is searching for his community and found it:

So, basically he sees his own community in a search, but he cannot join.

We are missing our community for about 4 weeks now. The owner (who is a friend of mine) doesn’t see it either anymore.

Just for info. Issue still present. Even after server merge (owner of the community was on the server that was merged recently).
Still the same issue. Everyone (even members) can see that community in the search list (in Data Base). But no one are count as a members and no one can join it…

Community name “Ночные Воители”.

I’m as developer my self can just give a suggestion - if this community is still in a search list, than this community still in Data Base. As it still in Data Base than any developer can look and check why members of the Community cannot use it.
Is pretty easy I think. Just a DB issue. 2 effort bug max…
