Community Feast event help

OK, I don’t get it at all. I see the event starts, and literally hundreds of players standing there and hitting the soup pot…

And what exactly am I supposed to do? It says wait for the Chef to give you a task pretty much all the time. Once it appeared out of nowhere that I have to fish a certain fish, and I did so and that somehow awarded me with 5 tasks completed.:person_shrugging:

What is going on there exactely? Whay are there so many players hitting the pot? I saw some rares spawn a few times, but with so many players they literally die in less than a second so there’s almost no way to tag them. What exactely am I supposed to do? And why? What does all of that award?

you wait for the chef to give you an order , you’re will see a chef hat icon box , in the middle of your screen. Click on it , you’re character will shout YES CHEF! do what is asked of you , then you have participated in the feast.

You have completed the requierement for the weekly. You can leave at that point or stay and help out.

They aren’t hitting the soup pot, they are doing one of the multiple tasks given out like tenderising the carp or the tasty morsel.

You should get given a few tasks throughout the 15 minutes of the event, things like to fish up a certain fish, to buy something from a nearby vendor, to tenderise an ingredient, stir the pot, stomp crabs, kick escaped fish back to name a few. However the event sometimes fails for some players and they either don’t get more than one or two tasks or don’t even get any at all. Just make sure that as soon as you are given a task you complete it or you won’t get given anymore.

The rares are low HP so it’s harder to get a tag on them but you will still get some rep for being in the area when they die so don’t worry if you don’t get a tag on them before they die.

Do, however, make sure you get a tag on Bisquuit when he spawns at the end (on legendary status soups only) because he drops some extra rep and some other handy bits and pieces.

Rep and a the weekly quest gives 500 rep and drops a soup ladened pot which has a piece of gear and the chance of some extra goodies including cooking recipes.

Other advice: use the corgi goggles at the start to help reduce lag when there is a lot of players there!!

Community Feast is a world event starting every three hours and 30 minutes
Each time the event is starting, you’ll get a notification in your chat saying that Community Feast begins in 15 minutes.
Similar to Grand Hunts, Community Feast will have a horn-like icon over Iskaara whenever it’s active
To unlock Community Feast in Dragonflight , you’ll first need to complete the main campaign in the Azure Span and unlock the Iskaara Tuskarr Renown. Then, you’ll need to level up your Renown to level three.
Remember, once you unlock Community Feasts for one character, it will be unlocked for all of your characters.
During the event, you wil lrecieve tasks from Chef Big Kinook
You’ll get different tasks to improve the quality of the soup he’s cooking.
Normally you’ll have 15 minutes to complete as many tasks as you can.
After the Event ends, you can eat the soup and get the Spirit of Sharing buff for one hour, which will grant you Versatility and HP regeneration.

Now as I said, the Chef will give you tasks - stand around and will eventually recieve one; there are limited number of tasks, the more people around the less likely you will recieve one , but even with a big crowd you will possibly recieve a task in every 2-4 minutes (if you are lucky…)
You can pick up a weekly from the lil Tuskar 15 min before the event starts
You need 5 task to complete the weekly; when you recieve one, the chef hat button appears

The task I encountered so far:
Tenderize the carp
Tenderize the steak
Tenderize the fish head
Kick back the fishes
Stomp the hermit crabs

These are easy, but there are task that requires a legwork and you wont recieve a new one untill completed:

Buy spiced fish parts
Buy chunk of blubber
Bring the spiciest fish
Buy a bucket of orca milk
Buy a pot of tea
Fetch some kelp (3 kelp spots are around the vilage, marked with yllow dots)
Collect a leviathan bone (on the ground at the piear where the butcher is)
Collect 3 Anchovies (they are next to anvil of the forgmaster; in the snow)
Fish up a fish from a nearby special pool

The task-npcs are around the village, marked by big glowing spots on your minimap

Also there are:
Taste the soup and tell your opinion to the chef
Encourge the Chef
Encourge the cooks around the couldron
Jump in (when you pres the task-hat, it draws you in to the couldron) and stri stir stir

(Maybe there are other task, so far I only encountered these)

During the event monsters attack the event, killing them will give reputation and they explode in to meat worth of +5 aroma - Killing the monsters NOT a kitchen duty task!
During these attacks the couldron is closed you can complate any quest related to it (not problem, these monsters are alive for a few sec)

At the end if you reached legendary (not sure tho" if the legendary quality is needed or not) soup level a bonus boss, Bisquius appears, he gives you an achievment and some reputation loot

Okay that’s thorough answer if the OP doesn’t still get it :stuck_out_tongue: then we have failed

And basically you grind tuskarr rep by doing these and fishing dailies?

Yes, there are a few WQs for them as well but the soup and fishing dailies are the biggest source of rep for tuskaar.

Well that’s a fun rep to grind.:slightly_frowning_face:

But still beats the turtles though, and isn’t mandatory unlike them.

dont be on a busy server for this event especially during busy hours. You will constantly get tasks as long there are not too many people out there.

You can get recipes , reps and and some toys from the weekly. and if the soup becomes legendary you get a few cooking items from the elite it spawns.

After your weekly quests you mostly just get tons of rep
