Hi,
I just went down and spent 15 minutes in the Community Feast and got 1 task.
Previously it’s averaged about 1 task per 60secs (depending on the tasks).
Did they change something?

Had a similar bug where I had to Tenderize the Rubbery Fish Head early in the feast, but as I saw the fish head when I clicked the [Yes Chef!], it was gone and never saw it appear again in the feast.
So I was stuck with that order until the end and gained no rep for the remainder of the event…

Yeh its gets pretty messy/laggy there at the week end.
But I’ve worked out that the less people around, the more tasks you get given. I ended up with 700 rep at the end of one I did at 3am.
Gave up doing feasts, seems super broken, the whole 15 mins I just had “0/1 Get your orders from Big Kinook”, never assigned any tasks, gating rep behind this stupidly bugged “feature” is just beyond belief.
It does, but if you do it at 3am when nobody is around it makes up for it. I think the best I’ve had was 700 rep 
You need to pop the special action button with the hat to get a task. Also, you don’t have to actually take part in everything the chef asks, only what pops up on the right of your screen.
Do 5 tasks for your weekly to get the epic chest (afterwards, rare chest) and relax till the final boss appears. Tag it and it should give some extra loot.
Yep but that extra action button doesn’t show up 9 of 10 times I attend the feast (not running any addons).
The Action Button only comes up when you’re assigned a task, as it just gives you a speed boosts and says “Yes chef”.
I only got my tasks when I popped it, at least it worked for my soup quest 
no, you already had your task at that point. If you looked any different it was highly likely due to lag

Just spamming AoE helps a lot with tags on quest mobs.

That it certainly does.
But I have also worked out, that you can pretty much just AFK for most of the Tasks and get the Rep from them when the timer runs out or the mobs dies.
The only ones that you can’t AFK for are the fishing ones, and the ones where you have to buy something from a vendor. But you only seem to get those when its quieter anyway.
It’s a little buggy but it also depends on how many people are participating. If there’s almost nobody there you’ll get constant tasks and recieve like 1000 rep from the event.
