Community Finder bug - A message to community owners

Hello everyone.

There is a really annoying bug/technical issue with the community finder that I think every owner of a big community should be aware of.

If you would delete your community, it will stay up in the community finder until the end of time.

Be sure when deleting your community that you first de-list it from the community finder (and double check) or it will give you alot of headaches in the future. I have spoken with a GM after my community is still listed despite being deleted over 30 days ago and he couldn’t figure out the issue so don’t expect it to get fixed any time soon.

I know this isn’t the perfect place to post this but I hope some of you atleast saw this

I really hope we’ll get some improvements when it comes to the in-game communities interface in general.

Love the concept, hate the execution. A major bug like the one you described shouldn’t exist.
The fact it does is just another confirmation they added communities to the live game in a rush. FeelsBadMan.

I really hope we’ll get some improvements when it comes to the in-game communities interface in general.

I also really love the concept of communities but it’s so unfinished. I own 2 capped communities. Some stuff will not affect smaller communities but when you have a big one you can see so many issues with it.

  • You can not kick more than 5 members at the time. Instead you have to kick 5, relog and then kick another 5.

  • I have no control over rank permissions and you don’t even get an overview of what moderators can and can’t do.

  • I can not delete calendar events my own members put up.

  • When you open a community with alot of members, only 40% of the online members will show. If you have that you have to close the window and re-open it again. It’s so annoying

I really hope that Blizzard fixes some stuff with it in Shadowlands

I recently started my own community and experienced all the issues you listed (except for the kickiing members part as it hasn’t come to that yet  )

Frustratingly barebones functionality.
