The Hunters Accord is now live!

This community is aimed toward the characters of Azeroth with the intention to combat the threat of monsters; be it a Leviathan terrorising the harbor town, a Demon running rampant across the village or even a Feral terrorising the farmstead. Formed to create a network of the skilled blades and sharp minds without the restrictions of a Guild.

This Community is hosted on a Discord server and in game, where your character can select an active contract to then adventure through DM’d events and slay (or capture) the monsters of our world.

The Accord focuses on the community and network feel for players, with minimal criteria other than to support the mission or have an interest in monster hunting - Players are offered one main event per month which is the gathering of Hunters in Arom’s Stand, Drustvar. Other than that, players may select and organize a date and time with the contract host at their own will.

What does the Accord offer?

Simply put: Roleplay.

  • Contracts: Players will have access to the Contracts channel within the discord. These missions are ‘Active’ with varying difficulty from Novice through to Group requirements and are hosted by our DMs. All you need to do is select a contract you fancy and organise a date and time with the host.

  • Community and Network: The Accord will host a monthly get-to-gether in Aroms Stand, where Hunters and Ally’s can come to network, share tales of hunts, compare weaponry and tactics or simply feast amongst friends.

Activity/Interaction from you:

We understand you may be commited to a guild so there is only one ask when it comes to activity in the accord - Attend within the six month window. There will be a half-yearly purge of inactive members to ensure that the community does not fall dormant.

Just to clarify, the community is Alliance specific? Thread doesn’t mention it specifically that I can see, but I figure from the meetings being held at Arom’s Stand that that’s the case.

Pretty basic, straightforward but nonetheless cool roleplay initiative, very nice.

I also applaud the use of Drustvar as a hub, Kul Tiras is one of the better designed areas in all of WoW (looks really great too) and it should be used way more often for roleplay than it is now.

Yeah for the meantime the community is Alliance specific for now. There may be a future idea to go cross-faction but for now we remain as Alliance only.

One of the main aspects Bryn left out, you get paid IC for the contracts, so your character does not do charity work.
Just wanted to put that out there.

The Hunters Accord are hosting their first monthly get-together on Monday 19th August! Exciting times ahead, as many have answered the call to join this network of prestige.

We are of course; still welcoming any and all those inclined to the way of Monster Hunting! :axe:

The first ever contract completed! The wizard, the knight and the marksman entered the abode of the great evil (read: an imp) and vanquished it after lengthy and glorious battle (read: 13 times a Nat 1).

When I first read about this project, I was already excited, and after tonight’s hunt
 Wow! I am overjoyed - this will be the most glorious journey! Here’s to more hunts, more completed contracts and even greater evils vanquished!

A fantastic concept, well thought out, well executed. The first contract complete was a clean, absolutely brilliant experience, with a hefty dose of dire straits on top for flavour.

If you enjoy rp, whether new or seasoned with it, it’s absolutely worth giving a try. Hop in, get contractin’, bon apetit.

P.S: Bring your best rolling dice, we need them.
