So I’ve been using the companion app since Legion, always updated it, worked fine for me in the beginning of BFA as well. Since a few weeks ago, whenever the app loads, I get an empty ‘character selection’ screen.
I’ve already tried:

Just a suggestion because I had this problem last week - have you checked you’re logging into the right zone? I.e. EU / US etc. because mine defaulted to US for some reason after an update.

I redownloaded the app again now (coz there was no log out option at the state I was in) and took a sec to look around before clicking the log in option. It was indeed set to US, it’s a grey button that doesn’t stand out at all compared to the login button ><

Thank you as well. Still seeing the ‘feature’ today so not sure where the logic is coming from behind this ? GUI design normally makes un-selectable or read-only features either hidden or read-only. Lazy programming like the lack of screen-rotation !
One year later this fixed it, never thought it’s the region as it’s grayed out lol
