Complaint: WoWC Beta, stress tests and 15th Anniversary Collectors Edition

I’ve been playing since 2004 and been lucky to get into Beta few times, including the recent stress test… just a thought have you selected in your account section to want to join Beta?

Also re the 15th edition, like everyone, struggling to get that, did read yesterday about some aspects becoming available in August - digital aspects.

Entitled much?

Look mate, you and over 2’000’000 others played during classic, if not more. I’ve seen some estimates of classic pop being at 6M. If the beta took 100’000 people that’s a 5% chance of getting it.

We also need a range of people in the beta, so the number of old timey players will be even less. You’re basically arguing look at me, I’m special for having the same traits as everyone else, gimme gimme gimme. Well done, you’ve spent alot on the TCG. That doesn’t effect your WoW play at all.

Phew, starting almost every paragraph like that is not how you get through to anyone worthy within Blizzard. Is it really a complaint? Or just to show everyone how good and loyal you have been and thus you should have been rewarded with beta-access :stuck_out_tongue:

It almost looks narcissistic.

Could’ve made a bullet-point or four without being self-centered, it would’ve sent a better message if anyone within Blizzard accidentally read it.

It reminds me when i used to work for the customer service centre of a big and luxorious car company. The customers who owned the highest tiermodel expected that the company use the red carpet everytime they entered in the car shop . One complained he never received a gift for xmas…
We are numbers. All of us. They care about numbers. Me, you, the method guildmaster, asmongold, we are just numbers. The last 2 have a bigger echo than us.
For the other numbers they used a roulette. And it was sometimes unjust maybe. But in general terms is the fairest choice

Blizzard’s actions confirmed my conviction that the actions were dictated by a commercial matter. Blizzard forced players to subscribe to have the chance to participate in the World of Warcraft Classic tests. As we could see in most cases, the access to the beta was received by streams, and ordinary people could feel cheated. Everything was dictated by the desire to grab extra money and to artificially raise the list of active subscribers. I quit my subscription and I do not intend to continue it until 27/08. I’m not going to play Battle for Azeroth, which I think has become a pay to win game. Being rich, you can legally buy a currency from Blizzard, and then buy boosts for gold in the game, which is also legal. You do not have to make any effort to get gear, just have money.

One flaw in your theory, gearing up != winning. Gear does nothing if you are horrible. It does NOT make you win, at all.

You hate BfA, fine, but please come up with decent arguments.

I don’t hate BFA. I hate idea of WoW Token…

Mhm, “I’m not going to play Battle for Azeroth, which I think has become a pay to win game” should have been “I hate WoW since WoD” then.

Buying boosts is something that almost always existed.

The funny thing is that tokens are going to affect classic too. Sell tokens in current WoW and pay gold to someone to boost you in classic. Saw this on some stream.

Well classic is already set to fail then this sounds troubling :worried:.

I would not say anything if only I could pay the subscription with gold. However, I am against gold selling by Blizzard, because it directly affects the economy.

Entitlement through biased causation. Take it or leave it doesn’t matter for anyone.

Streamers, YouTubers, the biggest influencers are first on that list.

The next are the top tier players.

The rest are random.

Take it or leave it, doesn’t matter.

Thinking that you’re entitled for something solely because you’ve been a loyal spender is a VERY poor way of thinking. You constant classic whiners got what you wanted and it’s not enough?

That was in Vanilla’s time. Getting equipment was an important factor in the game. At the moment it does not matter, because gear means nothing.

The truth is that in today’s WoW skills count. In Classic, skills do not really matter. It was enough to be a nerd, no-life, to be able to get something. Time is the key.

What skills you needed in vanilla with 1,014 spells per class ?

Did I say anything about skills that you need in vanilla? xD

The servers were up for a day though? The servers didn’t shut down after 3 am.

That’s GM talk for go away.

That’s a huge wall-o-text to establish Classic Entitlement Complex.
