The new assaults are completey confusing me; I don’t understand what/where/when we can or not do them. From what I’ve read we are supposed to get major and minor invasions, with diferent times and durations, and we should check our Maps, on bottom left (the ugly Eye) to see where these are.
Well… I do that, and every single time I do it, regardless of time day, I see invasions in 2 places, and 2 places only: Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. That’s it. There are never other places. So I’ve assumed these are the major invasions. Problem is, this week I’ve done the Uldum one, but can’t do the Vale one. When I get to the Vale, the place is suitably mutated, but the assault quest bar doesn’t show, nor do I get the NPC and text warning about it…
Instead of explaining in deep I will just give idea about what you need to do everyday.
Yes only 2 areas have Nzoth is doing assault. Vale and Uldum. Assualt gives rep and currency.
Pick up all daily quest(start with Uldum) and start doing it. If that area has major assault up you can finish it while doing daily. Daily gives currency to get into horrific vision. Visions help to upgrade your legendary cloak ilvl.
Same goes for Vale.
About minor assault - there is pylon like icon on map. Go there accept quest - play objective and get 1500 currency.
There is cap for currency -25000 so use it to buy vessels from chamber of heart(from Wrathian)
There is also cap for stockpile vessel -5max (+25000 currency in your pocket)
If you are mount, toy and pet collector - download handynotes Nzoth assaults add-on to make life easier. There is also only daily quest which requires 1 month grind to get mount. Also google Alpaca - which is 7 day daily to get mount.
That eye icon shows where is assault happening. Two zones Vale and Uldum.
Open map once you finished all major assault. That pylon like icon is on map. Easy to notice.
There is small portal to enter pylon. NPC near by it gives daily quest. That quest gives notification of 1day/entry.
these assault rotate every week, so one week the vale is the major assault while uldum is the minor, and the next week this swaps
the major assault lasts whole week, gives 1 vessel as reward (1 vessel = 1 horrific vision), and is infested with the dark empire theme (lots of obelisks, pylons, all nzoth themed)
the minor assault has a different theme (like mogu, mantid, those centaur things and starship troopers) and swaps 2 areas each week
the minor assault swaps locations on Saturday around 20 or 21 ST
the minor swap stays in its own map, it’s going to be either the left side or the right side of the map being a minor assault
minor assaults give 5500 coalescing visions, so you can get the 2x a week from the minor assault
