How is that the case tho? Doesn’t evoker has a freedom on his flying?
Damage is absurd as always, case for every reworked spec, but I don’t think that dh is anywhere close to be as tanky as most offender specs after rework. Fodded got removed and you got a talent, which is nowhere close to be as good as fodded, and it competes with mortal strike. I struggle to believe that you can just press W and don’t flop ( unless dmg is so high that you kill target in 5 sec or smth ). Damage can be tuned, as has been with every other spec.
Also, does ppl actually enjoy this rng 50% chance to dodge defensives?
That is not an opinion, that is just a fact. This is what you get when you create a class that is so easy to play with so few buttons that a monkey can play it and then make it too strong.
Everybody will play it and everybody will be good with it because there is nothging to it that is really hard. Blizzard even said it years ago, they wanted the DH class to be easy to play etc.
Rogue is stupidly OP since like the release of WoW in 2004/5. But DH is just the most annoying stuff ever to play against. Against a rogue I KNOW why I can not kill it, because I am in CC that is how Rogues work, it is what it is. But throwing everything you have at a DH and not moving his healthbar at all is just plain stupid and not fun at all.
I did, years ago. And in DF. Class is still the most easy class to play with no effort or thinking involved compared to other classes. It is a “unga, bunga” class design. It is what it is.
I recently made a DH myself, 98% of the reason being the amazing season 3 pitlord helmet tmog.
I dont think any melee is hard to play overall n im currently a warrior. I do however find DH harder to play than warrior because its alot less passively tanky where as both arms n fury just choo choo trains without ever being in danger.
I might play the wrong talents on my dh making it harder but DH feels alot more reliable on setup where you have short duration buffs n debuffs to track n use in short windows.
As fury or arms you are Immortal n just press what isnt on cd with shiny stuff taking priority. DH does seem to do excessive amounts of dmg atm though.
Inaccurate.
In Legion, DH was technically a 2 button specialization: Demon’s Bite > Chaos Strike.
Except you could pick a talent that removed Demon’s Bite from your spellbook and made you passively generate Chaos with auto attacks instead.
Demon Hunter was literally a 1 button specialization: Chaos Strike.
Haha this is funny
don’t compare them with X it isn’t fair
but hey let’s compare them with Y just because I said so
I chose fury / bm as they are renowned to be simple specs in terms of how many abilities for their rotation
Harder than BM as BM is ranged, with a pet that doesn’t cast
Fury heals a fair chunk, sticks to targets just as well if not better and seems to literally press 1-2-3. Also able to zerk fears and charm so solid into locks and priests.
I’d argue DH is trickier, and more squishy if you don’t know what you’re doing than the other two. but that’s my pov and bias
I said Y was fine did I?
…
nope I said calm down it’ll get nerfed. Things that are strong early season get nerfed and sometimes overnerfed.
Well, this is just pre-alpha! Alpha is going to be released in Wednesday and will be present for about 6-10 months. Then the prepatch for the 90€ expansions comes to break something thats already beyond broken. Hopefully none of us will be desperate enough to still be here by then.
