Connecting low population servers

Hi ppl even if many ppl did return to our server many have transfered to other servers lately so now we are down to the same population as we where befor Shadowland and we have droped down to the bottom of the list of PVE servers , I hope Blizz start to connect servers again soon or we slowly bleed to death and more ppl will stop playing.

Yes please

Why is there still nothing happening dont Blizzard care ???

Blizzard is working on 9.1 so they have priorities.

Plus they may expect that 9.1 will bring a lot of player back who may make they regread the merge decision cause servers may become overloaded.

Yeah i know that they work on 9.1 but ppl are transfering to medium servers to have more options, and the ppl we can recrute is the leftovers from guilds that are falling appart … its sad to see so many old guilds just go away, that wouldent happend if they merge us ,in our guild many have paused there account until something happends

Right now populations have dipped alot all over WoW Eu servers alot of people have quit or taking a break until next patch.

If it’s really affecting you from playing the game , i suggest re-rolling or transferring to higher pop realm.

If not group finder is a helpful tool.

We have a megathread for low pop servers, would be lovely if you could give your feedback there aswell

Lucky guess…
If merge happens, that will be on summer…
They need to do it depending on the maximum traffic a realm has…not the minimum…
Else we will get queues when people come back for patches etc.

Depends on with what Realm they get merged with. Tarren mills queues are acceptable. Draenor is hell.

Draenor shifted a good chunk of our population with the free transfers. Will be interesting to see if we get queues again.

They dont look at individual realms themselves but the greater pool of realms. Blizzard must feel that there’s not enough ‘dead’ realms to warrant a merge. As with everything Blizzard merging realms is never straight forward.

We’d love for them to revisit the merges. It didn’t feel finished last time.

Youre still at 25k+ players atm however.

Yes ofc, I just meant it’s not crazy queue levels busy now.

Tier is more or less done tho. So i doubt any realm has queue times atm. Queue times in general are usually only a problem during xpac launch (bwuwhwhaha SL launch for Draenor. Ah the forums were lovely) or during a patch. So you can expect queues for 9.1 just as i expect a small queue for Tarren Mill.

I think my point got lost. I’m not saying it’s to do with current playing levels.

They offered FCM and a substantial number of players moved including the World 3rd guild that was on Draenor, and they aren’t planning to move back for the foreseeable future.

Oh i got that. You will still get queues however.

That Pieces moved away is not surprising given such a guild can technically survive on the lowest pop realm in existence and still get their recruits etc. A big realm is quite counterproductive to them afaik because they can easily be screwed over during the race during an unlucky DC followed by queue if the system doesn prio you (which happens more often than not) among other reasons.

A 8.7k realm like stormscale should be perfect for them since queues wont happen outside of login server queues while still having an acceptable auction house economy.

Time will tell. A good chunk of eople moved because they could choose a huge number of destinations.

If this data is accurate then we are well down on previous numbers

That site seems to calculate every character however. Not just a player.

Doesn’t matter how it calculates it, we were the top busiest realm now we are massively down the list.

We have lost a significant number of our population and I think it will show next time other realms get queues.

But as I said, time will tell.
