Conquest Cap

There are 2 weekly which and they together with random BGs give over 1k Conquest per week so its double and you can catchup easily especially if doing rate arena on top of daily/weekly stuff.

The Conq Cap and Conq PvP vendor are joke…
You can get just one 200 ilvl item every 2-3 weeks with this stupid cap.
I see PvE guys running around with 250ish items, but we - the PvPers - just get 1-2 200ish ilevel per month.

No? That’s the entire point.

Cull the weak, drive out the slackers.

Better community overall.

Now you’re comparing the highest difficulty PvE reward with the lowest difficulty PvP reward though.

So? Go play some PvE then XD

As other have said first wins of the day religiously, and then PvP quests you can attain. Usually you’ll find “just for weekly” groups which don’t qualm ilevel.

First wins also gets honor for the 197 gear. The difference between the 197 gear and 200 isn’t huge tbh, the main benefit is it can climb higher and sometimes better secondary. But tbh having full 197 set is no reason to wait for rated, you may as well go at it anyway because those 3 ilevels won’t make a huge difference. I started doing my first rated when I was only 160 about a week or two ago. Actually won some games as well.

But yeah, I hit 60 about 2,5 weeks ago, now caught up in conquest and I didn’t hard grind it, just doing the first win at least every day and then the kind of PvP I would anyway, including rated.

Tough slog for starters atm I will admit. A lot of pve players running around in low brackets with 15 or more ilevel advantage which can be tough to beat if you’re not super experienced yourself. Especially if they play specs that can essentially Pve rotation you if only for long enough to put you on the back foot (fire mages).

I’m glad you’re not in charge. No offence

By the way OP me and my regular 2s partner are transferring horde end of week, we’re of a similar disposition (trying to start ranked) you’re more than free to drop bnet details and I can add you. We do mainly some 2s and RBGs currently WW and Hpala. If you want some chill folks you can play rated with on a semi regular basis think about it and we could sample some 3s etc over weekend.

You are not stuck at 20. You are not supostu catch up in week 1.

Well I am stuck at 20 for the time being. I thought the catch up would get me to the same as everyone else…

Thats real nice to mention  My btag is Bugga#2903

We can try some games, I work evenings at the moment so on during the day mainly, but that will change next month

I’m having no problems catching up to be honest. Your first normal BG win gives 40 conquest, and epic gives 65 conquest, and the brawl gives 40.

Well, you actually can catch-up within a week.

I’ll add you later, me and my buddy tend to be evening gamers atm but if and when we can collab it’s worth trying, as said we’re pretty casually minded but up for seeking rating ourselves so thought it’d be worth mentioning. Also we’ll often set up RBG groups without all the “have 226 ilevel and 2.2 exp” as well and keep them going for an hour or two so slowly building rating in that as well.

Alledgedly this will be easier on Horde due to numbers - so we hope.

I dont know 25 seems not much however they had an alt friendly system in bfa which made it so you gain like 50% more conquest on alts. no idea why this isnt implemented yet.

That system also sucked though because they had two runs of the gear so you had to spend ages going through the first set, of which all of the drops were useless (like 440ilvl when everyone had 470+ at the time).

One of my alts is like 3000 conquest behind so :S Right now without fully playing it, that’s too much to cap but oh well.

yes but it was better than nothing compared to now :'D like 550 is not much but now it adds up to over 4000 for every alt you play starting tomorrow thats a bit much to catch up on
