MoP/WoD had the best system by far

It was the closest version of that we’ve ever had in the history of WoW I think, specifically because of that small ilvl gap between honor and conquest. I understand what you mean, there have been regular discussions about it on the pvp forums. While I personally agree that automated scaling to level the playing field would be great, those discussions did show me people generally enjoy the sense of progression through gear, in pvp just as much. During WoD I felt they hit the sweet spot to appease both sides, honor gear was not too painful to get and people in full conquest vs people in full honor obviously had an advantage but it was slight compared to many other versions we’ve had.
Exactly. Another huge win was that PVP people didn’t have to PVE and vice versa.
WoD’s PVP gearing was simply the best in the entire history of the game. Please make it return, Blizzard.
