Considering Some Semi-weekly World Quests Becoming Daily

Because for a player such as myself the game is severely lacking content.
It’s very noticeable. You wouldn’t understand if you do ‘the big 3’ content.

Why are people like this? Why can’t they understand that not everyone likes what they like? Why are people so utterly self-absorbed?!

Then ask for better content for solo players than WQs lol. This ain’t it chief.

Not for you to decide what I do and don’t like.
‘chief’

And neither is it for you to decide for me. I don’t like daily world quests on my map. Great talk.

Thank you!

I’d be happy to see more world quests, but I prefer them being weekly. That way I can save them for a sunday morning and bash them for a few hours, rather than have to log in for 20 mins every day like we were doing with Korthia. This “set your own cadence” is much healthier and lets players choose whether to spread them out for a little every day, or sit down for a longer session once or twice per week.

Although I do think having profession recipes behind rep was the error here. If it was pure, pure cosmetics, it wouldn’t matter a jot how frequently world quests reset.

mmm dunno tah. while i love the wq, actually i have still a lot of things to do with my main (i have just 1 rep to 10 and miss 3\4 of the non campaign quests) that sincerely now i dont need any other content.
Maybe in 2 weeks i will be bored and ill need wq but not now. and you know i am a non big 3 player like you.

Edit: and im still behind in professions (cuz i need the recipes bought with rep)

I’m not though THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE.

On your map?! Are you kidding me?!
You are the worst… A slight inconvenience vs not being able to play.
Yeah… you are so selfish it’s sad. Go away. Just go.

Exactly, there’s plenty stuff to do outside the “big 3”. With invasions coming up too, there’ll be even more. And you also unlock more and more activities when you gain renown with the factions.

It´s not my fault that you bought the one year sub without waiting to see if you actually liked the game first. That´s on you.

Except there’s not.
It’s all weekly. It’s done fast. You literally cannot do meaningful, fun world content every day. LITERALLY you can’t.

One question though, why do you feel forced to do daily WQs when they are no longer mandatory? I mean I don’t like doing WQs but seeing as there isn’t any borrowed power tied to them I am ignoring them for the most part. And for the record I have no stance on either side of this debate, if WQs become daily or remain bi-weekly I wouldn’t care, I just want to understand where the issue lies.

I didn’t. Now be quiet.

You are though. You’ve had daily WQs for 6 years. I’ve enjoyed weekly/twice weekly for a whole 6 days and they were taking it away because people like you only want to do one thing in the game. They can add more world quests, but I just don’t want them to be daily. I want to bash them out in an hour and do something else with the rest of my time.

You know the game has a lot more to offer? Even for “casuals”. Have you even played Dragonflight? It’s pretty great.

Making them weekly makes them feel all the MORE mandatory. Its still the major income with only one ‘weekly’ quest beating wq’s for one faction.

Well then do us all a favor and unsub.

That’s a fine question friend.

I just like to complete stuff fast tbh - or do it in my own time. Daily world quests I’d definitely miss some and it’ll take me longer. Bi-weekly I can smash 'em all out thursday evening and come back sunday and do the rest.

Another part of this change is that it’s worrying that they’re already going back to daily “make you log in content” after just 6 days of the expansion. I was hoping Dragonflight would be different. I know this specific change isn’t a huge deal tbh, but I worry what else might come if they still design the game like this.

I have yes. And I’ve run out of things to do, for the most part.
There’s pure grinds I COULD do, killing elite mobs all day long or looking for treasures for hours and hours, but that’s not fun.

I’m not a casual.
I’m a world content player. I’m a solo player.

I do dungeons every now and then, but I don’t really enjoy them.
I don’t do mythic content, I don’t do PvP and I certainly don’t raid outside of LFR.
I tried all those things; I don’t like them.

In most past expansions this was never a problem. There was plenty to do.
Now with all this ‘weekly’ and ‘bi-weekly’ nonsense, there is not. THAT is the issue.
I play MMORPGs to be able to log in every day and always have something fun and worthwhile to do. THAT is not possible in DF for me.

Shut up and leave. You are what is ruining WoW.

Go away. Just go.

How about you listen to your own advice for a change?
