Just a quick question. Why is the /console maxfps command broken in Dragonfight? What was the reason for having this removed?
what that command do?
Sets a Max FPS Limit.
For example: “/console maxfps 144” will set the max fps to 144. I don’t know why the OP doesn’t set his max fps from the ingame settings itself
oh ok,yeah you can alaso make it in nvidia control panel or in riva tuner.
The ingame option only allows a cap from 1 to 200 or uncapped. If you want to set it to lets say 300. You used to be able to do it with /console maxfps 300 but it no longer works since 10.0. I dont know why they would break this command.
I’m aware you can do this in other software aswell but I generally like to use the framerate limiter within the game engine.
Try also setting /console useMaxFPS 1 too.
Also it should be /console maxFPS 300. Cases are often important in code.
What kinda beast of a PC you have to get 300 fps? Unless you play WOTLK
There are plenty of situations in both retail and in classic where if you have uncapped fps you hit 500+. Ofc I dont maintain this during raids etc but when im in an area where this is the case Id like the fps to cap out at 300. Simple
Besides, Wotlk runs worse in raids due to the game being bugged to sh*t. Plenty of posts about this.
