So while the crash/error is not new, it happens far too much since the new patch. For me it seems like has to do (in this case) with the new CPU add-on thing because as soon as I turn one add-on off or update an add-on the game crashes. Though it also happens randomly (just not as much as with the cpu add-on thing).
Seeing how many other people also have the problem, is there any way to turn this feature off?
Edit: Just did a clean reinstall of battlenet, wow and wow classic, no add-ons and still got the same error

I’ve also been getting random access violation crashes too since this update. Never had them before since I started playing WoW back in Legion. All the fixes people have said would resolve this issue hasn’t worked for me, including the 100% resolution scale, disabling Optional GPU Features, and Advanced Work Submit didn’t resolve it. So I’m not all out of options too. I also verified game files to no avail.
I’ve also been back and forth with support and cant manage to fix it. I’ve tried every solution. It mostly happens in Darkflame Cleft and Priory. On the raid I never crashed and I raid 2 times a week for 4 hours.
