I am aware there are alot of threads about the horrible fps, tho mine is constant and not just when I’m in a crowded place like a city or the zone where the world boss is. It’s from 60ish to 20ish at all times, even in solo content. Is there anyone that knows a way to fix this? My settings are the same as always so no changes there.
if 60 is your max, and it can dip down to 20, then it sounds like:
- You have the fps limiter turned on.
- You have vsync turned on.
- You have a weak GPU (you don’t give any specs at all).
- Any combination or all of the above.
You call that low…till Monday I was always at 8 -20. Though its still far from good (my laptop is quite old) there were some things a friend suggested that actually worked:
- Graphic card setiing : Choose it manually, not by default.
- Close Bnet while launching the game (you can set this in Bnet settings)
- Lower the graphic settings.
- Check if your graphic card needs updates.
Actually he also sent me a video, let me find it. But some stuff in there was too technical for me so I didnt because i was afraid to mess it up, so be wary if you want to dive deep into the settings (e.g. registry).
