''constructive feedback'' for shadowlands warlock

TLDR;

Chaosbolt doing 50k base dmg lel.
Fix class fantasy.

Remember the good old days in classic and TBC?
When shadowbolt ACTUALLY looked and sound deadly when it’s flying to ur face?
while dealing the highest crits in game cause it was the longest ***** cast?

This is the warlock we need. not a 3 min rotational burst, but consistant disgusting high numbers with slow speed for destruction.

In demonology we want to get rid of the '‘ch’'imp zoo and control 1-3 bigboy demons carrying our damage and actually look larger then my character instead of a baby. While boosting our pets damage by whatever means possible.
Im talking curses, amplifications or flat out channeling.

For affliction it’s obvious isn’t it?
ramping dots, the longer a fight exists during a cleave the more ramping of damage we like to see. The afflictions and curses should really be kicking in the longer a fight takes.

anything else?
Yes,

Make it like old times where every class has it’s threat at peak performance niche.
Do not homogenize the classes and thus the gameplay.
People have to accept the fact some classes in a certain talent are just bad in X situation but absolute godlike in others.

One could consider this ‘’ overpowered ‘’ but that’s part of the class fantasy.
You play a class to be good at a certain thing, not to be the same like everyone else.

please bring back the MMORPG we knew.

Do we? Not really. I honestly don’t have problem with the other two specs but Demonology as pet class didn’t work so far and it certainly wouldn’t work if we change sized and number of demons, empowering them didn’t really work out, if it did both small and big demons would have been alright.

Anyway I do agree that class fantasy has lot to draw from classic in general and there is lot to be learned from it. We also need more shared spells like back then, kinda fun.

Chaosbolt should ignore all the absorb effects, like it was in wotlk, that’s class fantasy.

From a fun perspective in PvE, i still like demonology most … probably because to me the builder spender feels most fluent and logical… there is definately a nice flow to the spec…

For the future of demonology, i would like to see more spenders… and a few less imps…

I mean I am not taking that away from you, I still think even the builder and spender insofar as demonolgy goes is pretty repetetive and I don’t enjoy it for sure but it’s fine if you do.

My problem is mostly that Demonology used to be really good spec and it got completely turned inside out with most people from what I see not being too happy either. Not to mention it’s pretty clunky spec in PvP and not as fun as the old demo by far in my opinion. But fun is very subjective.

Demo suffers from big mechanical issues and I don’t think adding more spenders would be sustainable unless we get more soulshards. I would also say imps are actually good, not as your main demon they shouldn’t be that but as very lot of the smallest and “weakest minions” . But definetly they should still say though I see why many people disagree.
