Minor rant-vent. In a cheeky salty comedy fashion.
I feel like standard consumables are counter-intuitive.
Whenever I use them, my party kills me as quick as possible. Tank doesn’t pick adds or stray, or team kills the wrong order and then the boss executes the well documented Focus Morales move and destroys healer during one casual stun.
After that I certainly do not use consumables, in order to prevent further deaths. Which do happen, can achieve plenty per Utgarde Keep. A run that might be five seconds faster turns into one slower by a couple minutes. Plus repair, plus wasted vendor gold.
And thus, I tend to live, even when my team goes suicide by ensuring to take as much damage as possible, pulling three packs and standing in all possible damage areas.
I certainly wouldn’t feel salty if all consumables would persist through death. I wish they would be worth the vendor silver. They are not. Their purpose is to further trivialise content you already dominate.
I know, it’s stupid.
But serious.
That’s what annoys me.
I might be proxy complaining that dungeons are too hard for the average WoW player today, but that would be a shame.
But really, 2-3 deaths for a healer per UK is “normal” and the average duration of an elixir or food buff is 5 minutes. I need way stronger reward bags to keep healing, I earn 25 gold per hour.
I always eat the best “cheese food” to help with Mana regen. I do understand you though, with flasks etc. people feel immortal, which they patently are not. Wast of time I promise not to stand in the bad even with vonsumables, if you ever heal me
