Recently I’ve been trying to learn a role I’ve never touched before, healer. Sadly though, when asked to train with Master Kistane it was impossible. You’re supposed to use Spear Hand Strike to interrupt her healing, but well, you don’t have that on Mistwalker, and she’s immune to CC so paralysis did nothing either.
I thought I’d run out of range and cancel the duel, but she literally follows you everywhere. I had no option but to enter the portal, which meant I couldn’t return to where I was originally using Zen Pilgrimage.
I find this to be a pretty big oversight. If your current spec is Mistwalker, I would like it if she wasn’t immune to paralysis so you could at least use that. Alternatively, allow the person to run out of range so they are able to switch to a spec with spear hand strike.

Or… you know… uh… give Mistweavers Spear Hand Strike back maybe? 
I ran into this same issue while leveling and since I didn’t want to leave she brutally beat me to death, it was pretty infuriating.

I didn’t realise they ever had it (first time playing MW). Not sure why it was ever removed in that case… it’s a pretty important skill as Kistane demonstrates lol
I didn’t even think about that. Probably could have saved a lot of time if I just let her use me as a punching bag.
