We’ve recently made the following change, which is live on all realms.
Raids
Heart of Fear
Garalon
Arms Warriors’ Sweeping Strikes no longer deal 100% increased damage to Garalon’s body when striking a Leg.
Developers’ notes: In Original Mists of Pandaria, during the first week of Heart of Fear Heroic difficulty, a Garalon hotfix addressed Sweeping Strikes, Blade Flurry, and similar effects. This was later superseded by changes made to Sweeping Strikes in patch 5.4, when Garalon was no longer the most relevant content. This fix returns Sweeping Strikes to its original behavior for Garalon’s body.
Additionally, this change will go live with scheduled weekly maintenance in each region:
Classes
Rogue
Subtlety
Sanguinary Veins bonus damage reduced to 40% (was 50%).
Developers’ notes: A bug fix made right before the release of Heart of Fear addressed a situation where multiple rogues in a group were constantly removing this damage increase from each other and not benefitting from it. The bug was pulling down average Subtlety performance, and since the correction, things got a little out of hand. This may display an incorrect value between 40/45/50%, so to be clear, 40% is the intended value.
We will continue to monitor the performance of all classes in Mists of Pandaria Classic as players’ gear improves with raid progression, and we expect to develop more adjustments as they become necessary.
Passive gameplay ? you HAVE to be a non healer player and you never tried heroic, be honest. there is NOTHING passive about any healer in any fight except maybe Emperor.
I cleared Heroic MSV and HOF 6/6 as a healer tyvm. Two classes. I stand by my argument. Some classes rely on passive healing for the majority of their heating. That gameplay is boring.
I relied that the reason for using only them is because other spells are allready nerfed. If you gut every healing ability, guess what would happen to progression in raids.
