Control Lava Bug

Hi,

Just speced into Control of Lava, and while I get the Lava Surge animation and buff, Lava Burst is NOT instant cast. Is this a known bug?

It says in the second line, in yellow letters

REPLACES LAVA SURGE

Once you take Control Lava lava surge is GONE. You dont have any instant procs anymore. Nada, zero, keine, non, what more languages are there to type "none" in?

This is why we got this stripped game after legion...

You got 3 spells to do damage and that's all folks!

Then the bug is that the animation still shows and the buff still appears?

no, the animation is letting you know a proc has reseted the lava burst cooldown...
flame shock still has a chance to reset the cd, allowing you to cast more lava bursts.
just not an instant cast lava burst.

Control of Lava PvP Talent
Replaces Lava Surge
Requires Shaman (Elemental)
Lava Burst damage increased by 25%.

Your Flame Shock damage over time has a 10% chance to reset the remaining cooldown on Lava Burst, and increase its damage by 25%, stacking up to 3 times.


Here you have the tooltip of control of lava.
Read it.
Now guess, what the animation is trying to tell you, what just happened.
Tipp: It is in the part below the "Lava Burst damage increased by 25%."

Haha ... thats why we need +21 servers nowadays... and even then, people cant read anymore :D

Same Question tell'd me a friend of mine, i was raging the same... why people cant read/speak/write anymore.. they gettin more dumb every year ... its sad

So thats why the Games gets simplified every expension , its not blizzards fault.. its because people cant read anymore and cant handle that much anymore.. its to hard to track more then 2-4 spells :D

That is beyond confusing, using the same animation/sound for two different functions/abilities!

sorry, but no, it is not. You just have to use your brain every once in a while, that's what it is for. You can't keep it fresh by leaving it on standby most of the time.

The animation is there for Lava Surge.
Control of Lava REPLACES Lava Surge.
So it does only make sense to use the same animation for it, as it is the animation for the effect, that got replaced by it.

Or are you one of those people, who have the charge of a warrior on one key and shadowstep of a rogue on a completely different and then wonder why you have such a hard time adapting when switching between them?
