Yeah that’s a nice pamphlet but since the OP is only referring to Pve, it’s not really on point
To respond to Toboro, it’s 2 different playstyle, you either want to bring DPS & support with flashy yellow effect or you prefer the self centered berserker who bring only blood with him.
Paladin received a full rework a while ago when Warrior is still on the waiting list for it. You can clearly see it in the 2 trees what the rework achieved:
1 has a heavy center focus with small improvement that you can pick from left & right without creating an issue to keep getting the basic talents below. The other has a strong focus left/right which blocks you to select a mix of the 2 + the general tree is full of previous baseline spells that are must have for the class, blocking even more the selection.
At the end of the day if you don’t run extreme High level Pve content, it doesn’t matter much.
the class forums are almost entirely pve based, because the game is almost entirely pve based. if you dont want to assume you can just click them and see what they do. OP hasn’t ever queued an arena game despite playing for over half a decade. honour lvl 8. safe to say he isn’t talking about pve.
Thanks for the answers! As others have pointed out, I don’t pvp (I really don’t like it, it only manages to frustrate me even when I win). I posted here though I’m not playing on this character, but anyway I’m still sticking to my warrior for now (locked him to 58 to run old expansions), I just don’t like paladin play style and having to stay in consecration, as well as throwing around too many things, where on the other hand with warrior I like both arms and fury, I switch between them a lot based on how I feel like playing. I can’t heal, but dpsing is way more fun. Gotta have a look at prot!
I’m glad to hear we haven’t had our rework yet, I’m very curious how it will turn out. For now atleast, having fun makes me forget about having less utility. I’ve gotta say though that self healing is quite good now!
