I am creating this topic because I just have played an arena Mach vs mage and balance druid. Basically we have killed the mage while druid was in stealth,
and what happened after that, druid came out of stealth with convoke in a range, because we play mele for 3 sec convoke this druid made 66k dps, 33 on both of us ( PS: we win the match) but Please tell me is this normal ? Currently I don’t see any effect from the convoke fix!
Mentioning this in second post but you have decreased rogue kyrian spell by 50% and that spell was doing 8k, here we can see spell which is doing 66k with just 1 click and this is fine ?
Yeap you can use defensive like bouble, block etc… but this is not the point here it is just not normal to do as much dmg as this with single button.
And I will again mention rogues, all was complaining they are dyeing in cheap shot and they decreased spell which was doing 8k with 50% and we can see 66k with 1 button now.
You are correct about that, the post is in arena section, however if we take for example battlegrounds, you are using most you your cds and if after that someone came to you with this you are just dead, not able to respond because the dmg is to much for just 1 click it’s just to much for one click and even if you interrupt it he still have all his cds.
If we’re talking Battlegrounds, you can go and stack Berserker, Saltwater Potion and your cooldowns and literally oneshot someone with a Templars crit.
Ye its anoying af…broken…rogue balance…rogue opens with bomb on druid duel my heal and there you go …dead in 2sec…make it so it cast starsurge at the end of the cast so you can atleast react to it…or surpass bubles from paladins to interrupt it…if they setup realy well for it …then sure gg. but ffs open from stealth with 4 18k surges before you can even register where he is …cmon.
Convoke’s a bit too random for my taste. While I am fine with not reacting to a 4 sec 2 min cd channel being big trouble for the enemy team… out of stealth, full range convoke can delete someone in 0-2 seconds if the stars align, you get the right amount of starsurges and they hit the right target. The “make it cast starsurge only towards the end of channel” isn’t a bad idea at all, imo.
But it’s a covenant ability, not spec’s cooldown. It shouldn’t work like that. I just look at my covenant ability with 2 min cd and can’t understand why it’s so weak.
First I already write that I have win the arena "( PS: we win the match) ". Never said I was not able to interrupt that, I am only talking about the unfair dmg this spell is doing. Second I have played some games on 3v3 with people which are not playing pvp and I am not really trying to get rate in3v3. Third I am playing 2v2 with fury warrior and we are doing dps competition, If I want to push rate in arena I will get mage.
Last, topic is about [CONVOKE THE SPIRITS IN PVP] and the dmg which is doing, you might be 3k rate you might be 0 the spell will do the same dmg to you.

Even when actively playing with the only goal in mind to stop the Convoke (saving kick, stun, defensives and mobility for that moment), you can still die to it too damn fast - and not just yourself, your entire team can.
I have died in 0.2s after a Convoke started casting - and I even stunned the cast! The druid got interrupted but I still died in the time it took for the stun to land.
i can barely even remember the last time i lost to a convoke tbh. it feels a lot less scary than it used to, probably just gotten better at playing around it. a lot of them are kyrian anyway it seems.
