Itâs easy to play around. You know the moment youâre entering the Arena and see a Balance Druid that itâs likely that you will get Convoked.
- Donât spread out. The damage burst relies on having an isolated target.
- Staying close together means that the burst is spread among the available targets, meaning that itâs easier to survive.
- Be ready to interrupt. Itâs a 4 second channel. Remember that you donât need a kick/pummel/counterspell to stop it, but a knockback, blind, stun etc. will do the same thing.
- Line of Sight is your friend.
This is a classic learn to play issue.

but he just said that itâs not a 0.5s thing, it happens over circa 4-5 seconds which is similar to convoke rly.
its the same as convoke - you donât counter it and you take a lot of damage, i guess hunterâs a little less RNG-y than convoke though
are you sure a knockback works? you can convoke while moving, so wouldnât knockback have no effect? or is it different for boomie?

Iâd say that Convoke is still more OP since it doesnt have any set up time and can be used from Stealth.
Pop Incarn/On-use trinket > Convoke and before anyone can react, you already blasted out 2 Starsurges. Itâs like 1 Second vs 4 seconds of Hunter-Set up

In general, it does seem like a case of âoh no the enemy popped cooldowns and i died without doing anything to counter it how could this happenâ for most things.
Only Shaman is truly one-shot right now, and thatâs iirc due to bug-abusing anyway soâŚ

The only people who like shadowlands are the people who play classes that can 1 shot people fact Being able to deal 2x 17k crits on someone in the space of half a seccond is just dumb, whoever sat there and designed the spell needs sacking and sending to the nearest mental health clinic ASAP and people who decided the spell was a good idea need to follow behind him Damage on all classes that can 100-0 someone in 2 secconds needs nerfing or increase health pool but they dont care so good luck
They need a bring back resil⌠They need to remove vers from all pve gear and only have vers on PVP gear they need to make pvp gear supirior for PVP but crap for pve and they need to make pve gear bad for PVP but good for pve Rework vers and make it only give the benefit on PLAYERS not everything. Like what is the actual point in PVP gear when PVE gear can give you more of an advantage in PVP makes no sence lol

If you ignore theres a boomy or feral in the BG or arena and just let him freecast, then well ye.
Dumb oneshot mechanics such as convoke of skills shouldnât exist at all.
