They nerfed rogues 'cause they one shot but completely forgot this abomination of an ability…
I went against Prot Paladin and Convoke Boomkin, Paladin bubbles boomkin and they cast convoke, nothing can save my partner that doesn’t have full immunity.

There’s a difference. Convoke is super rng. If you die one shot one out of thousand times it’s not an issue.

Can’t wait for Blizzard to listen to the crying over convoke and then seeing druid DPS once again stop existing in PvE because people dunno how to interrupt a convoking druid in arenas lmao.

If convoke makes Druids viable in PvE then there is a huge design-flaw. So shift some power from Convoke back into their rotational abilities.

I would really like that personally, but we all know that’s not how the 2-man team that is in charge of 36 specs handle things. I would love if covenants barely had anything to do with the specs as well if it helped balancing both pve and pvp but ye I doubt we will see that

Pretty sure Balance’s PvE BiS is not NF.
NF is BiS for Druids for about 90% of the time. Kyrian allows for more versatility in the sense of being able to sustain more damage over a larger period, however NF fills a very important role within both M+ and Raid - which is an absolutely nuts amount of single target burst on demand.
You can check WCL, and see that pretty much every druid in the top 100 for recorded fights is NF.
He said prot paladin. So he doesn’t mean BOP, he means the full blown bubble. Prot paladins can use it on allies. There’s no purging that one.

If you can’t counter convoke then I’d wager its the least of your problems frankly. Especially as a caster with a ranged silence and stuns…
On off chance its drood and prot pally for the bubble…that’s a problem with the prot paly providing a full immunity and allowing casting…

Convoke is a bad ability that shouldn’t exist in wow as it is now…
Yes it has the potential to one shot…
Yes sometimes it does…nothing
Yes you can work around it in small numbers and closed space environment…
Yes with class stacking in rated bgs is a problem…
Can you balance it? Yes…make the cd lower, like 40 secs, make it use any spell according to spec only , 2 sec cast except starsurge and starfall…and hit only your target for moonkin(cleave spells work like they are, cleave)…resto works only with heals and can spread them…
This is exactly what I was saying a few days ago.
If you design a class with borrowed power in mind you’re already on the path to creating an incomplete, clunky spec.
If convoke is the main source of damage for druids that means Blizzard has failed miserably to design their class and keep them viable with any other covenant choice.

U mean the one from valkyre right? Which turn their defensive spell into buble usable on allies.
U can stun that valkyre and she will stop chaneling the buble
Still, get close enough to a guy thats choosing his opening place from stealth, stun and kick. By then you’re dead. Especially if he vortexes.

Rogues can still 100-0 in 2 seconds after nerfs. And their 1shot is much more guaranteed.
No guide is saying necrolord.
Edit: As a side note I even checked Noxxic. That website tries to be as bad, useless and misleading as possible I swear.
People think Convoke is OP because it’s a one button RNG wonder flashy moment. Kyrian is actually just as powerful. Nerf Convoke and then Kyrian Druids take over. Nerf Kyrian then you have the vast majority of your Druids mad.
Ah, the beautiful and simple design of Covnenats. Nobody saw these issues coming. Not a soul.

Just levelled my Balance Druid to 60 (about 30 minutes ago) and I have to admit I love using Convoke of Spirits.
Ambushed in Ardenweald, Convoke of Spirits and BANG, ambush no more. Love it, although I did say to a friend as soon as I saw how powerful it can be, not how it always is, that I can see a nerf incoming at some point.
But while we wait for the nerf, I and many other Night Fae aligned Druids will continue to enjoy the occasional enemy HP melting.
