I got a question I could not find an answer to. My Old World Recipes is 174/300 skill, and cataclysm 11/75, but all others are 0/0. I guess after cataclysm is understandable to be 0/0 since I am level 85, I guess you unlock them when getting to the respective level of the expansion.
But under cataclysm, the WoTLK and Outlands recipes skills… why are they 0/0? Is it a bug or something? Will the Cataclysm and Old World Recipes get to 0/0 too after getting to a certain level? Does it mean I was leveling the cooking profession until now for nothing, only to get 0/0 at some point?

That’s nothing to worry about, it just means that you haven’t learned the correct type of cooking yet. Professions, as you probably already know, are split out by expansion, so in order to learnfor example Outlands cooking, you need to speak with a cooking trainer from that expansion.
It is not possible to “outlevel” a profession, and you can learn all of them at level 120 too
You can find the locations of each respective trainer on wowhead or wow-professions, and especially the latter, has some great information on professions in general.
