If you manage to get 100% of all available and possible to get cooking food/drink recipes, and learn them all, there should be a title + mount + toy + pet + mtx set reward.

I almost have them all, from classic to Dragonflight except the artisan cosortium recipe and the Legion fishing feast (but will cheat a bit with the recipe scraps from the Legion TW) - it is a bit slow to grind that rep
…and one I will never have, the Goldthorn Tea recipe since Henry Stern was removed from the Razorfen Downs 
Cooked and tasted all of them and having the Chef title feels really earned
But some pet or toy would be nice
On the other hand cooking was the only profession with a tittle - Chef - and a set of mogs, cooking hat, appron, rolling pin an frying pan, - and Pierre, the pet to cook on or the Pandaren noodle carts to RP (with the little minigame/daily that unlock in Halfhill market) - so I guess the cooks already enjoyed the fruits of their labours
