Cool tips & tricks while leveling ?

Recently Most of the people i played with stopped playing and i have taken a backseat of wow untill the release of 8.2, So i decided to level couple of alts up to 120 and was wondering what do people use/do while leveling as neat little tricks?
I usually just grab a bunch of goblin gliders on alts while leveling through zones and recently remembered that i could grab enchants likes “Crusader and Mongoose” to make it a bit faster and found out you can grab legion neck enchants as well.
I was wondering what else can you get while leveling like pots,flasks,food other consumables or other enchants and what other little tips&tricks are out there to do ?

Find a person or two to level with (I found them in random dungeons) add them to a community, go on mic have a laugh and dungeon spam… it goes so fast that way.

Gathering professions. The extra exp from picking nodes all adds up, Acrhaeology too.

  • Get few cans of Red Bull
  • Set some playlists with Techno or Metal
    (Depends if you are leveling with PvE or PvP)
  • Find any other friend or xrealm random guy to que together
    (If you are DPS que times are cancer so a Healer would be cool)

I dont buy any consumables since leveling is faceroll these days , you dont need any enchants or pots/flasks imo since everything is 2-3 shot with looms.

just spam islands from 110-120, pre 110 just spam dungeon for the most part and maybe quest if youy’re a DPS

I find having a second monitor helps…then you can just bingewatch Netflix whilst you level.
Also between TBC/Wrath levels I like to play dungeon bingo. I flag all the dungeons individually and cross them off once Ive done them…that pretty much gets you through those levels as there are so many dungeons!

Farm gold on ya main. 450kish buys you a 110 boost. Will save you like 50 hours of mind numbingly, and very tedious dungeon spamming.

A boost is £50 a token is 179k atm so you will need 5 tokens = 895.000gold needed i rather level .

you get a boost with BfA. Fair enough though didn’t realise it was £50 in game shop, holy s*** that’s bad.

An easier way is to get a BfA cd key, got my last one for £17, and you get a 110 boost with it. Much rather spend £17 which is not even an hour of work irl. Compared to 70 hours of the same old rubbish.

You can buy BfA with currency for £40 of blizz too. So 720kish, Would take me about 14 hours to get that. Still saves 40ish hours.

I often play half naked (ingame of course) and sometimes comepletely naked (still ingame) - Some areas are more difficult this way, and needs more planning when attacking mobs :slight_smile:

Leveling is already very fast. Up to 60, 70, 80 when you earn flying/faster flying it might feel slow, but from then it is around 15 min a level.

If you run into someone, invite them and simply ask to tag along and follow you, you’ll easily shave down at least a third of the time.

For solo 110+, buy an “endless tincture” trinket, it heals you for 10k on kill with no internal cooldown. You can also buy a 5% xp gem “insightful rubellite” at around level 100, but it is a bit problematic to find a ring with a socket that early.

Leveling is drastically faster up from level 70 through each next expansion content, except 110 can feel really boring and dull since you’re limited to three zones, but can still keep up the 40min per level pace or faster

110+ heilrooms or azerite armor debate, it is pretty much the same, except you’ll feel much more powerful fighting monsters with the increased stats vs extra xp choice. Whatever you choose the overall XP/hour is about the same.

Trinket seems like a interesting choice didn’t know about for ring i seem to find the jewelcrafting 111 ring costs around 40-60gold to craft and always comes with a socket.

Try to find new areas everytime you levelup a new caracter, rather than the fastest leveling route from some guides if you’ve already done it.

Dual gathering is great, one node is about 2.5 or 3 mob worth of xp and you can sell it on the AH.
